How To Install cpio-win32 on Ubuntu 18.04

What is cpio-win32
cpio-win32 is:
GNU cpio is a tool for creating and extracting archives, or copying files from one place to another. It handles a number of cpio formats as well as reading and writing tar files.
This is a win32 version of cpio. It’s meant to be used by the win32-loader component of Debian-Installer.
There are three methods to install cpio-win32 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cpio-win32 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cpio-win32 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cpio-win32

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install cpio-win32 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cpio-win32
Install cpio-win32 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install cpio-win32 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install cpio-win32
How To Uninstall cpio-win32 on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the cpio-win32 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cpio-win32

To uninstall cpio-win32 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cpio-win32
Remove cpio-win32 Configurations and Data
To remove cpio-win32 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cpio-win32

We can use the following command to remove cpio-win32 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
