What is bzr-upload

bzr-upload is:

This is a plugin for Bazaar that incrementally uploads changes in a Bazaar branch to a dumb server.

Web sites are often hosted on servers where Bazaar can not be installed. In other cases, the web site must not give access to its corresponding branch (for security reasons for example). Finally, web hosting providers often provide only ftp access to upload sites. This plugin uploads only the relevant changes since the last upload using the ftp or sftp protocols.

It adds a “upload” subcommand to bzr.

There are three methods to install bzr-upload on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install bzr-upload Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install bzr-upload using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install bzr-upload using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install bzr-upload

How To Uninstall bzr-upload on Ubuntu 18.04

To uninstall only the bzr-upload package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove bzr-upload

Uninstall bzr-upload And Its Dependencies

To uninstall bzr-upload and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove bzr-upload

Remove bzr-upload Configurations and Data

To remove bzr-upload configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge bzr-upload

Remove bzr-upload configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove bzr-upload configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
