How To Install logtool on Kali Linux

What is logtool

logtool is:

logtool is a syslog-style logfile parser and report-generator, capable of producing ANSI, ASCII, CSV (for spreadsheets), HTML or just raw output.

It’s very handy in generating nightly reports and in online monitoring of logfile activity.

There are three methods to install logtool on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install logtool Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install logtool using apt-get by running the following command:
