What is inputplug

inputplug is:

inputplug is a daemon which connects to a running X server and monitors its XInput hierarchy change events, such as an input device being attached or removed, enabled or disable etc, and runs some command when these events happen.

There are three methods to install inputplug on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install inputplug Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install inputplug using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install inputplug

Install inputplug Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install inputplug using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install inputplug

Install inputplug Using aptitude
