How To Install iftop on Kali Linux

What is iftop
iftop is:
iftop does for network usage what top(1) does for CPU usage. It listens to network traffic on a named interface and displays a table of current bandwidth usage by pairs of hosts. Handy for answering the question “Why is my Internet link so slow?”.
There are three methods to install iftop
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install iftop Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install iftop
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install iftop
