FSVS is a backup/restore/versioning/deployment tool for whole directory trees or filesystems, with a Subversion repository as the backend. It can do overlays of multiple repositories, to achieve some content separation (base install, local modifications, etc.)

There are three methods to install fsvs on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install fsvs Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install fsvs using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install fsvs

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install fsvs using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install fsvs

Install fsvs Using aptitude
