How To Install doris on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install doris on Kali Linux.

What is doris

doris is:

DORIS is an Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) processor developed by the Delft Institute of Earth Observation and Space Systems of Delft University of Technology.

Interferometric products and endproducts such as Digital Elevation Models and displacement maps can be generated with this software from Single Look Complex data. Data from the satellites ERS, ENVISAT (first ENVISAT interferogram, DEM, and perspective view, JERS (first JERS interferogram), and RADARSAT (first RADARSAT interferogram) can be processed with the Doris software.

There are three methods to install doris on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install doris Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install doris using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install doris

Install doris Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install doris using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install doris

Install doris Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install doris using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install doris

How To Uninstall doris on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the doris package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove doris

Uninstall doris And Its Dependencies

To uninstall doris and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove doris

Remove doris Configurations and Data

To remove doris configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge doris

We can use the following command to remove doris configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge doris
