How To Install aom-tools on Kali Linux

What is aom-tools
aom-tools is:
AOMedia Video 1 (AV1) is an open and royalty free video encoding format optimized for the Internet and the successor of VP9. aom is the reference encoder and decoder implementation published by the Alliance for Open Media.
This package contains the command line encoding and decoding tools.
There are three methods to install aom-tools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install aom-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aom-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install aom-toolsInstall aom-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aom-tools using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the aom-tools package we can use the following command:

To remove aom-tools configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
