What is andi

andi is:

This is the andi program for estimating the evolutionary distance between closely related genomes. These distances can be used to rapidly infer phylogenies for big sets of genomes. Because andi does not compute full alignments, it is so efficient that it scales even up to thousands of bacterial genomes.

There are three methods to install andi on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install andi Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install andi using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install andi
