The zziplib library is intentionally lightweight, it offers the ability to easily extract data from files archived in a single zip file. Applications can bundle files into a single zip archive and access them. The implementation is based only on the (free) subset of compression with the zlib algorithm which is actually used by the zip/unzip tools. Install zziplib on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install zziplib using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install zziplib

Install zziplib on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install zziplib using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install zziplib

How To Uninstall zziplib on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the zziplib package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove zziplib
