Also included are Unicode translation for symbologies which support Latin-1 and Kanji character sets, full GS1 data support including verification and automated insertion of FNC1 characters and support for encoding binary data including NULL (ASCII 0) characters.
This package contains Zint Barcode Studio, a QT frontend for the Zint barcode encoding library.
There are three methods to install zint-qt
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

Install zint-qt Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install zint-qt
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install zint-qt

After updating apt database, We can install zint-qt

sudo apt -y install zint-qt
Install zint-qt Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install zint-qt
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install zint-qt
How To Uninstall zint-qt on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the zint-qt
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove zint-qt
Uninstall zint-qt And Its Dependencies
To uninstall zint-qt
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove zint-qt
Remove zint-qt Configurations and Data
To remove zint-qt
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zint-qt
