How To Install zfs-test on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install zfs-test on Kali Linux.
What is zfs-test
zfs-test is:
OpenZFS is a storage platform that encompasses the functionality of traditional filesystems and volume managers. It supports data checksums, compression, encryption, snapshots, and more.
This package provides the OpenZFS test infrastructure for destructively testing and validating a system using OpenZFS. It is entirely optional and should only be installed and used in test environments.
There are three methods to install zfs-test on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install zfs-test Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zfs-test using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install zfs-testInstall zfs-test Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zfs-test using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install zfs-testInstall zfs-test Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zfs-test using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install zfs-testHow To Uninstall zfs-test on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the zfs-test package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove zfs-testUninstall zfs-test And Its Dependencies
To uninstall zfs-test and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove zfs-testRemove zfs-test Configurations and Data
To remove zfs-test configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zfs-testRemove zfs-test configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove zfs-test configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
