How To Install zathura-djvu on Ubuntu 18.04

zathura-djvu is:
zathura is a document viewer with a minimalistic and space saving interface. It offers a vim-like experience and has a focus on keyboard interaction. The key bindings, commands and most other settings can be customized.

This package contains zathura’s DjVu plugin.

Install zathura-djvu Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install zathura-djvu using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install zathura-djvu using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install zathura-djvu
Install zathura-djvu Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install zathura-djvu using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install zathura-djvu
How To Uninstall zathura-djvu on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the zathura-djvu package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove zathura-djvu
Uninstall zathura-djvu And Its Dependencies
To uninstall zathura-djvu and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove zathura-djvu
Remove zathura-djvu Configurations and Data
To remove zathura-djvu configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zathura-djvu
Remove zathura-djvu configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove zathura-djvu configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge zathura-djvu
