In this tutorial we learn how to install zarafa-ical on CentOS 7.

What is zarafa-ical

The zarafa-ical package includes the Zarafa iCal/CalDAV gateway service to enable users to access their calendar using iCalendar (RFC 2445/5545) or CalDAV (RFC 4791) compliant clients. The iCal/CalDAV gateway service can be configured to listen for HTTP and HTTPS requests.

We can use yum or dnf to install zarafa-ical on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install zarafa-ical.

Install zarafa-ical on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install zarafa-ical using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install zarafa-ical

Install zarafa-ical on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install zarafa-ical using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install zarafa-ical

How To Uninstall zarafa-ical on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the zarafa-ical package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove zarafa-ical
