How To Install zaqar-server on Ubuntu 18.04

What is zaqar-server
zaqar-server is:
Zaqar is a multi-tenant cloud messaging service for web developers. It combines the ideas pioneered by Amazon’s SQS product with additional semantics to support event broadcasting.
The service features a fully RESTful API, which developers can use to send messages between various components of their SaaS and mobile applications, by using a variety of communication patterns. Underlying this API is an efficient messaging engine designed with scalability and security in mind.
Other OpenStack components can integrate with Zaqar to surface events to end users and to communicate with guest agents that run in the “over-cloud” layer. Cloud operators can leverage Zaqar to provide equivalents of SQS and SNS to their customers.
By installing python-zaqarclient you get programmatic access to the Zaqar v1.0 API library. Plus, it installs a plugin to python-openstackclient that allows you to perform simple queue operations.
This package contains the API server on which clients will connect.
There are three methods to install zaqar-server on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install zaqar-server Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install zaqar-server using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install zaqar-server
Install zaqar-server Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install zaqar-server using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install zaqar-server
Install zaqar-server Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install zaqar-server using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install zaqar-server
How To Uninstall zaqar-server on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the zaqar-server package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove zaqar-server
Uninstall zaqar-server And Its Dependencies
To uninstall zaqar-server and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove zaqar-server
Remove zaqar-server Configurations and Data
To remove zaqar-server configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zaqar-server
Remove zaqar-server configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove zaqar-server configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge zaqar-server
