How To Install zabbix-proxy-pgsql on Kali Linux

What is zabbix-proxy-pgsql
zabbix-proxy-pgsql is:
Zabbix is a server/client network monitoring system with many features. It can be used for:
- high level monitoring of IT services;
- centralized monitoring of your servers and applications;
- monitoring of SNMP-enabled devices;
- performance monitoring (process load, network activity, disk activity, memory usage, OS parameters etc.);
- data visualization.
This package provides the software needed to integrate a host as a Zabbix proxy. It collects information from Zabbix agents, temporarily stores it in a PostgreSQL database and then passes it to a Zabbix server.
There are three methods to install zabbix-proxy-pgsql on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install zabbix-proxy-pgsql Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zabbix-proxy-pgsql using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install zabbix-proxy-pgsqlInstall zabbix-proxy-pgsql Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zabbix-proxy-pgsql using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install zabbix-proxy-pgsqlInstall zabbix-proxy-pgsql Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zabbix-proxy-pgsql using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the zabbix-proxy-pgsql package we can use the following command:

To uninstall zabbix-proxy-pgsql and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove zabbix-proxy-pgsqlRemove zabbix-proxy-pgsql Configurations and Data
To remove zabbix-proxy-pgsql configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zabbix-proxy-pgsqlRemove zabbix-proxy-pgsql configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove zabbix-proxy-pgsql configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
