What is yasm
yasm is:
Yasm is a complete rewrite of the NASM assembler. It supports multiple assembler syntaxes (eg, NASM, GAS, TASM, etc.) in addition to multiple output object formats (binary objects, COFF, Win32, ELF32, ELF64) and even multiple instruction sets (including AMD64). It also has an optimiser module.

on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install yasm
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install yasm

Install yasm Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install yasm
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install yasm
How To Uninstall yasm on Debian 10
To uninstall only the yasm
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove yasm
Uninstall yasm And Its Dependencies
To uninstall yasm
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove yasm
Remove yasm Configurations and Data
To remove yasm
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge yasm
