What is yaskkserv

yaskkserv is:

yaskkserv is a dictionary server for the SKK Japanese input method system. yaskkserv is written in C++ from scratch in consideration of embedded environment, but is compatible with skkserv on the protocol behavior.

yaskkserv can use multiple dictionaries and also supports server completion.

There are three methods to install yaskkserv on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install yaskkserv Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install yaskkserv using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt update
