How To Install yafc on Debian 9

yafc is:
yafc is an FTP client intended to be a replacement for the standard ftp(1) program. Features include directory cache, remote filename completion, aliases, colored ls, recursive get/put/ls/rm, nohup mode transfers, tagging (queueing), background downloading, and more.
There are three methods to install yafc
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install yafc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install yafc
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install yafc

Install yafc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install yafc

How To Uninstall yafc on Debian 9
To uninstall only the yafc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove yafc

sudo apt-get -y autoremove yafc
Remove yafc Configurations and Data
To remove yafc
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge yafc
