How To Install xwrits on Ubuntu 18.04

What is xwrits
xwrits is:
xwrits helps you prevent repetitive stress injury.
xwrits is a small reminder program designed to let you know it is time to take a break from typing to rest your wrists and prevent any damage to your wrists (or at least make them feel better if you’ve already damaged them). Normally works on the honor system, but if you find yourself unable to stop typing during your break, it can also lock your keyboard.
There are three methods to install xwrits on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xwrits Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xwrits using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xwrits

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install xwrits using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install xwrits
Install xwrits Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install xwrits using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install xwrits
How To Uninstall xwrits on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the xwrits package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove xwrits

sudo apt-get -y autoremove xwrits
Remove xwrits Configurations and Data
To remove xwrits configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xwrits
