How To Install xtide-coastline on Kali Linux

What is xtide-coastline
xtide-coastline is:
XTide is a package that provides tide and current predictions in a wide variety of formats. This package enables the xtide package to display the world’s coastlines (World Vector Shoreline data) when displaying the Earth to select tidal stations.
Works automatically with xtide 2.9.5-2; See README.Debian if using an earlier version.
There are three methods to install xtide-coastline on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xtide-coastline Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xtide-coastline using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xtide-coastlineInstall xtide-coastline Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xtide-coastline using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install xtide-coastlineInstall xtide-coastline Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xtide-coastline using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the xtide-coastline package we can use the following command:

To uninstall xtide-coastline and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xtide-coastlineRemove xtide-coastline Configurations and Data
To remove xtide-coastline configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xtide-coastlineRemove xtide-coastline configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove xtide-coastline configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
