The NVIDIA binary driver provides optimized hardware acceleration of OpenGL/GLX/EGL/GLES applications via a direct-rendering X Server for graphics cards using NVIDIA chip sets.
Please see the nvidia-kernel-dkms or nvidia-kernel-source packages for building the kernel module required by this package. This will provide nvidia-kernel-460.73.01.
This version only supports GeForce, Quadro, NVS, Tesla, … GPUs based on the Kepler (desktop cards only), Maxwell, Volta, Turing, or newer architectures. Look at the legacy packages for older cards.
