How To Install xserver-xorg-core on Kali Linux

The Xorg X server is an X server for several architectures and operating systems, which is derived from the XFree86 4.x series of X servers.
The Xorg server supports most modern graphics hardware from most vendors, and supersedes all XFree86 X servers.

This package is built from the X.org xserver module.
There are three methods to install xserver-xorg-core on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xserver-xorg-core Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xserver-xorg-core using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xserver-xorg-coreInstall xserver-xorg-core Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xserver-xorg-core using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install xserver-xorg-coreInstall xserver-xorg-core Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xserver-xorg-core using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install xserver-xorg-coreHow To Uninstall xserver-xorg-core on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the xserver-xorg-core package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-coreUninstall xserver-xorg-core And Its Dependencies
To uninstall xserver-xorg-core and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xserver-xorg-coreRemove xserver-xorg-core Configurations and Data
To remove xserver-xorg-core configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xserver-xorg-coreRemove xserver-xorg-core configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove xserver-xorg-core configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge xserver-xorg-coreDependencies
