What is xrestop
xrestop is:
xrestop uses the X-Resource extension to provide top(1)-like statistics for each connected X11 client’s server-side resource usage. It is intended as a developer tool to aid more efficient server resource usage and debug server-side resource leakage.
xrestop requires the X-Resource extension, supported by XFree86 4.3 and above, and by the freedesktop.org X server.
There are three methods to install xrestop on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xrestop Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xrestop using apt-get by running the following command:
