Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall xorg-x11-server-Xwayland on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the xorg-x11-server-Xwayland package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove xorg-x11-server-Xwayland
