Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install xmonad-core
on CentOS 7.
What is xmonad-core
This package just provides the core xmonad window manager program. To run the default xmonad configuration you should install xmonad-basic. If you want to customize xmonad please install either xmonad or xmonad-mate.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xmonad-core
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xmonad-core.
Install xmonad-core on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install xmonad-core
using yum
