Xiphos is a Bible study program for the GNOME desktop environment, based on The SWORD Project by the CrossWire Bible Society, a framework for developing Bible study tools and of associated texts such as commentaries and dictionaries.
This package contains the data files that are necessary to use Xiphos.
There are three methods to install xiphos-data on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xiphos-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xiphos-data using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install xiphos-data using apt by running the following command:
