How To Install xfonts-terminus on Kali Linux

What is xfonts-terminus
xfonts-terminus is:
These are fixed-width fonts suitable for terminals, editors, etc. If you have to work for extended time in front of monitor (i.e. over eight hours), you may find that using of these fonts reduces your eyes-fatigue.
Note: You might want to use the package fonts-terminus-otb instead of this package because the fonts in this package are used by the X server directly. Several modern applications will ignore such fonts.
This package contains normal and bold fonts in the following sizes: 6x12, 8x14, 8x16, 10x20, 11x22, 12x24, 14x28 and 16x32 and supports the following encodings: ISO10646-1, ISO8859-1, ISO8859-2, ISO8859-5, ISO8859-9, ISO8859-13, ISO8859-15, ISO8859-16, KOI8-R, KOI8-U, CP1251 and PT154.
There are three methods to install xfonts-terminus on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xfonts-terminus Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xfonts-terminus using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xfonts-terminusInstall xfonts-terminus Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xfonts-terminus using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install xfonts-terminus using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the xfonts-terminus package we can use the following command:

To uninstall xfonts-terminus and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xfonts-terminusRemove xfonts-terminus Configurations and Data
To remove xfonts-terminus configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xfonts-terminusRemove xfonts-terminus configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove xfonts-terminus configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge xfonts-terminusDependencies
