How To Install xenomai-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

Xenomai is a real-time development framework cooperating with the Linux kernel in order to provide a pervasive, interface-agnostic, hard real-time support to user-space applications, seamlessly integrated into the GNU/Linux environment. Xenomai provides its own API and emulation layers (“skins”) to make migration from other RTOS easier. Examples are: pSOS+, VxWorks, VRTX, uiTRON, RTAI, POSIX.

There are three methods to install xenomai-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xenomai-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xenomai-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xenomai-doc
Install xenomai-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install xenomai-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install xenomai-doc
Install xenomai-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install xenomai-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install xenomai-doc
How To Uninstall xenomai-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the xenomai-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove xenomai-doc
Uninstall xenomai-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall xenomai-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xenomai-doc
Remove xenomai-doc Configurations and Data
To remove xenomai-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xenomai-doc
Remove xenomai-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove xenomai-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge xenomai-doc
