xbrlapi is:

BRLTTY is a daemon which provides access to the Linux console (text mode) for a blind person using a braille display. It drives the braille display and provides complete screen review functionality.

This package provides xbrlapi, a brltty X11 helper which handles proper keyboard simulation and window selection.

There are three methods to install xbrlapi on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install xbrlapi Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install xbrlapi using apt-get by running the following command:
