How To Install xara-gtk on Ubuntu 18.04

What is xara-gtk
xara-gtk is:
ara is a utility for searching the Debian package database using boolean regexp queries.

There are three methods to install xara-gtk on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

After updating apt database, We can install xara-gtk using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall xara-gtk on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the xara-gtk package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove xara-gtk

To uninstall xara-gtk and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xara-gtk

To remove xara-gtk configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xara-gtk
