How To Install xacobeo on Debian 9

What is xacobeo
xacobeo is:
Xacobeo provides a simple graphical user interface (GUI) for executing XPath queries and seeing their results.
The GUI tries to provide all the elements that are needed in order to write, test and execute XPath queries without too many troubles. It displays the Document Object Model (DOM) and the namespaces used. The program registers the namespaces automatically and each element is displayed with its associated namespaces. All is performed with the idea of being able of running an XPath query as soon as possible without having to fight with the document’s namespaces and by seeing automatically under which namespace each element is.
There are three methods to install xacobeo on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xacobeo Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xacobeo using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xacobeo
Install xacobeo Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install xacobeo using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install xacobeo
Install xacobeo Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install xacobeo using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install xacobeo
How To Uninstall xacobeo on Debian 9
To uninstall only the xacobeo package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove xacobeo
Uninstall xacobeo And Its Dependencies
To uninstall xacobeo and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xacobeo
Remove xacobeo Configurations and Data
To remove xacobeo configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xacobeo
Remove xacobeo configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
