How To Install wsjtx-data on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install wsjtx-data on Kali Linux.
What is wsjtx-data
wsjtx-data is:
WSJT-X implements amateur radio communication protocols or “modes” called FT4, FT8, JT4, JT9, JT65, QRA64, ISCAT, MSK144, and WSPR, as well as one called Echo for detecting and measuring your own radio signals reflected from the Moon. These modes were all designed for making reliable, confirmed QSOs under extreme weak-signal conditions.
This package contains architecture-independent data files.
There are three methods to install wsjtx-data on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wsjtx-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install wsjtx-data using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install wsjtx-dataInstall wsjtx-data Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install wsjtx-data using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
