What is woff2

woff2 is:

woff2 is a library for converting fonts from the TTF format to the WOFF 2.0 format. The library also allows decompression from WOFF 2.0 to TTF.

The WOFF 2.0 format uses the Brotli compression algorithm to compress fonts suitable for use in CSS @font-face rules. WOFF 2.0 is a W3C Candidate Recommendation.

This package contains the woff2_compress, woff2_decompress, and woff2_info utilities.

There are three methods to install woff2 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install woff2 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install woff2 using apt-get by running the following command:
