What is wmtime

wmtime is:

WMTime displays the time and date and gives you some nice additional features too. It is intended for docking in Window Maker.

It currently provides:

  • the time and date;
  • a realtime morphing interface (analog <> digital mode);
  • auto-scaled and anti-aliased hands;
  • localization: displaying the day and date in various languages;
  • three user-defined commands to launch.

There are three methods to install wmtime on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install wmtime Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
