How To Install wmlongrun on Ubuntu 18.04

What is wmlongrun
wmlongrun is:
WMLongRun is a program to monitor LongRun. It displays the current LongRun(tm) settings and status: the frequency, the LongRun(tm) flags (performance or economy), and the performance level (expressed as a percentile). It is a dockapp (dockable application) that is supported by X window managers such as Window Maker, AfterStep, BlackBox, and Enlightenment.
It has two user interfaces: an LCD look-alike user interface and an LED-interface. If you select the LCD-interfaces, the back-light may be turned on/off by clicking the mouse button over the application.
There are three methods to install wmlongrun on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wmlongrun Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wmlongrun using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install wmlongrun using apt by running the following command:

Install wmlongrun Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install wmlongrun using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install wmlongrun

sudo apt-get -y autoremove wmlongrun

To remove wmlongrun configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge wmlongrun
