How To Install wmifs on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install wmifs
on Debian 10.
What is wmifs
wmifs is:
wmifs is a dockable applet for X11 that can monitor all your network interfaces. It’s designed for Window Maker’s Dock and AfterStep’s Wharf, but it’s not dependent on these window managers and should work with any other.
WMiFS stands for “Window Maker InterFace Statistics”.
There are three methods to install wmifs
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wmifs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wmifs
using apt-get

How To Uninstall wmifs on Debian 10
To uninstall only the wmifs
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove wmifs
Uninstall wmifs And Its Dependencies
To uninstall wmifs
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove wmifs
Remove wmifs Configurations and Data
To remove wmifs
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge wmifs
