What is whowatch

whowatch is:

whowatch is a ncurses who-like utility that displays information about the users currently logged on to the machine, in real-time. Besides standard information (login name, tty, host, user’s process), the type of the connection (ie. telnet or ssh) is shown.

There are three methods to install whowatch on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install whowatch Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install whowatch using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install whowatch

Install whowatch Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install whowatch using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install whowatch

Install whowatch Using aptitude
