Whipper is a Python 2.7 CD-DA ripper based on the morituri project (CDDA ripper for *nix systems aiming for accuracy over speed). It enhances morituri which development seems to have halted merging old ignored pull requests, improving it with bugfixes and new features.

There are three methods to install whipper on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install whipper Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install whipper using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install whipper

Install whipper Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install whipper using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install whipper

Install whipper Using aptitude
