How To Install webhook on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install webhook on Kali Linux.
What is webhook
webhook is:
Webhook is a lightweight configurable tool written in Go, that allows you to easily create HTTP endpoints (hooks) on your server, which you can use to execute configured commands. You can also pass data from the HTTP request (such as headers, payload or query variables) to your commands. webhook also allows you to specify rules which have to be satisfied in order for the hook to be triggered.
For example, if you’re using Github or Bitbucket, you can use webhook to set up a hook that runs a redeploy script for your project on your staging server, whenever you push changes to the master branch of your project.
There are three methods to install webhook on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install webhook Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install webhook using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install webhookInstall webhook Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install webhook using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install webhookInstall webhook Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install webhook using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the webhook package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove webhookUninstall webhook And Its Dependencies
To uninstall webhook and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove webhookRemove webhook Configurations and Data
To remove webhook configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge webhookRemove webhook configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
