How To Install wdiff on Kali Linux

What is wdiff
wdiff is:
wdiff' is a front-end to GNU
diff’. It compares two files, finding which words have been deleted or added to the first in order to create the second. It has many output formats and interacts well with terminals and pagers (notably withless').
wdiff’ is particularly useful when two texts differ only by a few words and paragraphs have been refilled.
There are three methods to install wdiff
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wdiff Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wdiff
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install wdiff

Install wdiff Using aptitude

using aptitude

How To Uninstall wdiff on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the wdiff

sudo apt-get -y autoremove wdiff
