How To Install wcstools on Kali Linux

What is wcstools
wcstools is:
WCSTools is a set of software utilities, written in C, which create, display and manipulate the world coordinate system of a FITS or IRAF image, using specific keywords in the image header which relate pixel position within the image to position on the sky. Auxiliary programs search star catalogs and manipulate images.
This package contains the binary tools.
There are three methods to install wcstools
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wcstools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wcstools
