How To Install wavpack on Ubuntu 18.04

What is wavpack
wavpack is:
WavPack is a completely open audio compression format providing lossless, high-quality lossy, and a unique hybrid compression mode. Although the technology is loosely based on previous versions of WavPack, the new version 4 format has been designed from the ground up to offer unparalleled performance and functionality.
This package contains an encoder and decoder for wavpack files.
There are three methods to install wavpack on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wavpack Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wavpack using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install wavpack

sudo apt-get -y autoremove wavpack
Remove wavpack Configurations and Data
To remove wavpack configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge wavpack

We can use the following command to remove wavpack configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
