How To Install vlc-data on Debian 9

What is vlc-data
vlc-data is:
VLC is the VideoLAN project’s media player. It plays MPEG, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, MOV, WMV, QuickTime, WebM, FLAC, MP3, Ogg/Vorbis files, DVDs, VCDs, podcasts, and multimedia streams from various network sources.
This package contains HTTP interface files, and Lua scripts for VLC media player.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

How To Uninstall vlc-data on Debian 9
To uninstall only the vlc-data package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove vlc-data
Uninstall vlc-data And Its Dependencies
To uninstall vlc-data and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove vlc-data
Remove vlc-data Configurations and Data
To remove vlc-data configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge vlc-data
Remove vlc-data configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
