How To Install vim-tabular on Debian 11

In this tutorial we learn how to install vim-tabular
on Debian 11.
What is vim-tabular
vim-tabular is:
Sometimes, it’s useful to line up text. Naturally, it’s nicer to have the computer do this for you, since aligning things by hand quickly becomes unpleasant. While there are other plugins for aligning text, the ones I’ve tried are either impossibly difficult to understand and use, or too simplistic to handle complicated tasks. on Debian 11. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install vim-tabular Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install vim-tabular
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install vim-tabular
Install vim-tabular Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install vim-tabular
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install vim-tabular
Install vim-tabular Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install vim-tabular
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install vim-tabular
How To Uninstall vim-tabular on Debian 11
To uninstall only the vim-tabular
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove vim-tabular
Uninstall vim-tabular And Its Dependencies
To uninstall vim-tabular
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove vim-tabular
Remove vim-tabular Configurations and Data
To remove vim-tabular
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge vim-tabular
Remove vim-tabular configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove vim-tabular

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge vim-tabular
