This is a collection of modules (“vmods”) extending Varnish VCL used for describing HTTP request/response policies with additional capabilities. Included:

  • 3.0-style saint mode
  • Advanced cache invalidations, and more.

There are three methods to install varnish-modules on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install varnish-modules Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install varnish-modules using apt-get by running the following command:
