How To Install usbutils on Kali Linux

What is usbutils

usbutils is:

This package contains the lsusb utility for inspecting the devices connected to the USB bus. It shows a graphical representation of the devices that are currently plugged in, showing the topology of the USB bus. It also displays information on each individual device on the bus.

There are three methods to install usbutils on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install usbutils Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install usbutils using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install usbutils

Install usbutils Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install usbutils using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install usbutils

Install usbutils Using aptitude
