In Fedora, these fonts are provided freely by (URW)++ company, and are mainly utilized by applications using Ghostscript. This package contains the necessary license files for this font set.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install urw-base35-fonts-common

Install urw-base35-fonts-common on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install urw-base35-fonts-common
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install urw-base35-fonts-common
Install urw-base35-fonts-common on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install urw-base35-fonts-common
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install urw-base35-fonts-common
How To Uninstall urw-base35-fonts-common on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the urw-base35-fonts-common
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove urw-base35-fonts-common
