unpaper is:

unpaper is a post-processing tool for scanned sheets of paper, especially for book pages that have been scanned from previously created photocopies.

The main purpose is to make scanned book pages better readable on screen after conversion to PDF. Additionally, unpaper might be useful to enhance the quality of scanned pages before performing optical character recognition (OCR).

There are three methods to install unpaper on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install unpaper Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install unpaper using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install unpaper

After updating apt database, We can install unpaper using apt by running the following command:
