The unicode-screensaver is a simple screensaver application that repeatedly randomly picks an unicode character and displays it in a very large font size together with its unicode code point and the character name.
It works with xscreensaver or gnome-screensaver.
There are three methods to install unicode-screensaver on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install unicode-screensaver Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
